Ancestry St Patricks Day Sale: Money Saving Tip
Most of the sales on Ancestry memberships will not allow an existing member to take advantage of the savings … the sale is intended for new members only. But here’s how I’ve used the tree sharing trick above to get around that:
- Use a new email address (created on one of the popular email platforms such as Gmail or Outlook) and create a NEW Ancestry account when purchasing the membership … and don’t forget to enter the coupon code (scroll to the top).
- Once the new Ancestry account is active, login as the OLD account, then invite the NEW account to your tree (use the Editor role for full access).
Now you’ll have access to your tree using the new Ancestry account with the discounted membership!
