Our story
Legacy Family Tree Webinars was founded by professional genealogist Geoff Rasmussen in September 2010. Originally envisioned as a “once or twice a month” live webinar series, the service quickly grew into a full-fledged membership site offering hundreds of webinars. In 2017, Legacy Family Tree was acquired by the global genealogy company MyHeritage, and in April 2021, we hosted our 1,500th webinar.
