Can you believe that Legacy Family Tree Webinars just presented its 2000th webinar? As Geoff Rasmussen, host of Legacy Family Tree Webinars stated: “What began as an experiment has revolutionized genealogy education.” And I can’t agree more. I was attending the Genealogy Jamboree put on by the Southern California Genealogical Society in Burbank, California in June 2010 when a 5,000 seat GoToWebinar license was one of the door prizes – valued at $5,000 USD! I REALLY wanted to win that one since I was one of the early adoptees for genealogy webinars, but my good friend and colleague Geoff, on behalf of Legacy Family Tree, won it instead.
Geoff and the entire team at Legacy Family Tree should be proud of this “monster” they created! Who knew that genealogy and family history webinars would become so popular, especially in light of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
