Are you ready for RootsTech 2023 – the world’s largest genealogy conference EVER? Whether you choose to attend LIVE and IN PERSON in Salt Lake City, Utah from 2-4 March 2023 OR, like me, attend VIRTUALLY and ONLINE, you can now see who else is at RootsTech and how they are related to you!

In the recent article Relatives at RootsTech 2023: Find Out Who You’re Related To! at the FamilySearch Blog, you can easily find out which of your relatives – close family as well as far-flung cousins – are attending this year’s event.

So I decided to take the bait, went to https://www.familysearch.org/connect/ and I used the easy-to-follow instructions:

I already have a FamilySearch account, so I signed in. Next I was asked to update my profile at FamilySearch so that I everything was good for finding my relatives.

And then I clicked START and look what I found?  For last year’s RootsTech I have 5,157 relatives!

Relatives at RootsTech will be live from February 17th to March 31st. Relatives at RootsTech 2023 is a fun and inspiring way to explore your family tree and find relatives you didn’t even know existed. Do you know what a third cousin twice removed is? Relatives at RootsTech 2023 will teach you and maybe even introduce you to one!
